Report Gallery

Overview

The Insights Report Gallery enables you to view a variety of pre-configured, cross-project reports. Currently, you can observe the following:

  • Portfolio Overview: allows you to view cross-project data, test run status, and JIRA defect status at the portfolio level for health analysis.
    • Portfolio Overview table
    • Portfolio Details table
  • Portfolio Progress: displays reports for test runs, JIRA defect status, progress, and defect trend by Release or Test Suite across projects.

A Portfolio can be a group of qTest Projects that are analyzed by either Release or Test Suite using values you define in qTest Manager.

Prerequisites

Create the Portfolio in Insights

Create and name a Portfolio within Portfolio Configuration. This is where you link together the Portfolio Custom Site Fields you created in qTest Manager to a Portfolio Report in Insights.

If you have a Jira integration you can also use the following with Portfolio Reporting:

  • Map Defect Custom Fields- allows you to select your custom Jira defect fields that you want to see in the Portfolio Details table of the Portfolio Overview report.
  • Map Defect Status Values- map your Jira Defect Status Values to Insights Status Values. You can also assign a color to the Insights Value which will display in your Portfolio Reports.
  • Map Jira Defect Severity Values- allows you to translate defect severity values defined in Jira to a set of standard severity values in Insights, making it easy to clean up multiple prioritization values that may exist in your Jira projects.

For additional information on the items above, read the Jira Defects in Portfolio Reporting article.
