Point your Scenario Plug-in to your Data Center Region for Jira Server-OnDemand


OnDemand qTest customers integrated with Jira Server and using either the US-West or EU-Dublin data center will need to manually point their Scenario plug-in to their associated data center region. 

Note: If you are an OnDemand customer using the US-East data center, you do not need to proceed further. Currently, the Jira default data center is US-East when you configure your Scenario plug-in.

Manually Point Data Center to Scenario

  1. In your Jira Cloud application, select the Settings option in the left panel.
  2. From the Settings menu, select Add-ons.
  3. In the Add-ons menu, select Manage add-ons.
  4. Select the Upload Add-on button on the Manage add-ons page.
  5. The Upload add-on widget loads.

  6. Enter the appropriate base URL for your chosen data center and select Upload.

Base URL Options

Below are the valid base URL options for the Scenario add-on. These are determined by the current AWS Regions/Availability Zones.

Ensure Scenario is Configured

Once you have entered the base URL for your desired data center, you need to perform a final check to ensure the configuration is successful.

  1. From the Scenario add-on, select Configure.
  2. The Plugin Configuration information loads. Verify that the base URL displayed in the Server URL field is the correct configuration for your data center.
    Note: The base URL entered here will have the installation path removed.
    Example: If you installed for US West/Oregon via 
  3. Your Scenario Project Settings in Jira will now display the appropriate data center in the Webhook URL field.
