7.2 Requirement Reports

You can use the following reports to do statistics for Requirement. They are grouped under category Requirement Reports on the left menu.

Requirement Coverage Report

This report lets you compare the total number of Requirements vs. the actual covered Requirements vs. the executed Requirements grouped by each Module.

A Requirement is considered to be fully covered when all test cases linked to it are already approved.

Similarly, a Requirement is considered to be executed when all Test Cases linked to it have all Test Run instances to be already executed. You can select specific Module(s) to view the corresponding data as needed.

Follow these steps to view this report:

  1. Select Requirement Coverage Report from the menu on the left hand side.
  2. Select up to five Modules from the drop down list.
  3. Click on Show button to view the report.

There are four parts in the report:

A. Report Settings

You can select up to five Modules to show the data.

B. Latest Information

There are 3 types of statistics are displayed in this area:

  1. Requirement: show the total count of requirements which belongs to the modules selected in View Settings.
  2. Covered Requirement: show the total count and percentage figure of the covered requirements among the total counted requirements.
  3. Executed Requirement: show the total count and percentage figure of the executed requirements among the total counted requirements.

C. Chart and Legend Area

After specifying your Report Settings, you can click on Show button to view your Requirement coverage data reported in form of a Columns chart. At the right most of the chart, there are legends displayed based on the modules that previously selected in the View Settings area.

D. Data Grid

In addition, this report provides a data grid which allows you to examine the reported data up to the detail of a specific Requirement.

The statistic figures displayed on the data grid reflects the most recent actual state of requirements across the system.

You can click on each data grid’s cell to view details of the corresponding Requirements.

You can export the grid to Excel file for further reporting purpose. It can exported to different formats such as XLS, PDF, CVS. Click on Download button to download the report.
