7.1 Test Case Reports

You can use the following reports to do statistics for Test Cases. They are grouped under category Test Case Reports on the left menu.

Test Case Creation & Approval

This report provides the audit trail of all Test Cases’ Creator and Approver that can be filtered by Module. Follow these steps to view this report:

  1. Select Test Case Creation & Approval Report from the menu on the left hand side.
  2. Select a specific Module.
  3. Click on Show button to view the report.

There are four parts in the report:

A. Report Settings

You can select a specific Module for the report to show the data. Only one option can be selected at a time. Option "All", which means all Modules, is selected by default.

B. Latest Information

This section shows the current quantity of Test Cases and how many of them are approved/unapproved.

C. Charts and Legends area

In this section, the report's statistics are displayed graphically. The graphs give you a quick and graphic view of the approved Test Cases in the system at the current time.

There are two charts:

  • Total Test Cases pie chart: You can see the total number of Test Cases in the system and how many of them are approved.
  • Approved Test Cases pie chart: The chart shows the number of approved Test Cases being grouped by their status.

D. Data grid

The grid contains the detailed data of the approved Test Cases in the Module that you selected in Report Settings section.

You can export the grid to Excel file for further reporting purpose.

  • The report can be exported to different format such as PDF, CSV, XLS by clicking on the Download button.

Test Case Summary

This report provides the detailed data of all Test Cases at the report run time. Follow these steps to view this report:

  1. Select Test Case Summary Report from the menu on the left hand side.
  2. Select a specific Module from the drop down list.
  3. Click on Show button to view the report.

B. Latest Information

This section shows the current quantity and percentage of Test Cases, grouped by their current statuses. The highlighted information gives you a quick overview of the Test Cases in the selected Module.

C. Charts and Legends area

The statistics in Latest Information area are displayed graphically in this section.

D. Data grid

The grid contains the detailed data of all Test Cases in the Module that you selected in Report Settings section.
