2.93 Web Explorer - Dec 14, 2015

  1. Overview

qTest Web Explorer allows for web testing across the most popular operating systems (Windows, Mac, and Linux). This web extension records tester activities on the browser, including Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. Web Explorer is available for Enterprise and Elite packages and can be downloaded from qTest's Resources page.

    • Web Explorer for Safari: 1.1.3
  3. New Features

    • Web Explorer now allows users to specify a list of web-domains to be recorded automatically

To save users the trouble of having to manually define the domains in each of their Web Explorer instances, a dedicated section called Web Explorer Whitelist is introduced in Explorer Settings page of qTest

In qTest, users can now enter a list of domains to automatically record with Web Explorer by entering the URLs in the Web Explorer Whitelist field

When users login to Web Explorer, the whitelisted domains from qTest will be retrieved and loaded into the Web Explorer settings

When users access any web domain listed in the Web Explorer whitelist, a recording confirmation message will be displayed
