You can create multiple tracker connections for the same tracker type. For each type of tracker connection setup, following steps are always to be taken. Next steps will be different depending on type of tracker you are setting up the connection for.
Click the Settings button on the Main toolbar.

Locate Defect Trackers tab in the Settings.

Click New Connection button. New Connection dialog displays.

qTrace currently supports the following defect tracking systems:
Pre-Condition: qTrace currently supports Assembla on premise and SaaS version.
Select "Assembla" tracker type, enter connection name, Assembla Web URL, and login information. For example, http://www.assembla.com.

Click the Test Connection button to test the connection. You will receive a confirmation message next to the Test Connection button if the connection is established successfully.

Click Save to save settings for subsequent use. The connection is saved and listed on the Settings screen and on Submit dropdown list. To submit the defect to Assembla, refer to Submit Defect to Assembla for details.
Pre-Condition: Bugzilla requires the installation of the BZAPI API on the server in order to accept bug reports from external applications. qTrace currently supports Bugzilla version 3.6.x, and 4.0.x.
Select "Bugzilla" tracker type, enter connection name, Bugzilla Web URL, and login information.

The Web service URL schema depends on your Bugzilla setup. Contact your Bugzilla administrator to get the correct Web service URL. Sample URL: http://bugzilla.qasymphony.com:3000. Bugzilla integration does not accept special characters in the password field. |

qTrace defect records support Unicode. However, Bugzilla does not support Unicode by default. If you need to view these Unicode defect records in your Bugzilla system, you may need to download and install a patch on your Bugzilla system. |

Select "FogBugz" tracker type, enter connection name, FogBugz Web URL, and login information. For example, http://qas-qa.fogbugz.com.
Click the Test Connection button to test the connection. You will receive a confirmation message next to the Test Connection button if the connection is established successfully.

Click Save to save settings for subsequent use. The connection is saved and listed on the Settings screen and on Submit dropdown list. To submit the defect to FogBugz, refer to Submit Defect to FogBugz for details.
Pre-Condition: qTrace currently supports HP Quality Center 11.
Select "HP Quality Center" tracker type, enter connection name, Web URL, and login information.

Pre-Condition: qTrace currently supports JIRA on premise version 4.1.x, 4.2.x, 4.3.x, 4.4.x and SaaS version.
Select "JIRA" tracker type, enter connection name, Web URL, and login information. Example: http://jira.qasymphony.com:8080
Click the Test Connection button to test the connection. You will receive a confirmation message next to the Test Connection button if the connection is established successfully.

Click Save to save settings for subsequent use. The connection is saved and listed on the Settings screen and on Submit dropdown list. To submit the defect to JIRA, refer to Submit Defect to JIRA for details.
Pre-Condition: qTrace currently supports QASymphony's qTest SaaS version.
Select "qTest" tracker type, enter connection name, Web URL, and login information. Example: http://yourdomain.qasymphony.com
Click the Test Connection button to test the connection. You will receive a confirmation message next to the Test Connection button if the connection is established successfully.

Click Save to save settings for subsequent use. The connection is saved and listed on the Settings screen and on Submit dropdown list. To submit the defect to qTest, refer to Submit Defect to qTest for details.
Pre-Condition: qTrace currently supports Rally SaaS version.
Select "Rally" tracker type, enter connection name, Web URL, and login information. For example: https://community.rallydev.com/
Click the Test Connection button to test the connection. You will receive a confirmation message next to the Test Connection button if the connection is established successfully.

Click Save to save settings for subsequent use. The connection is saved and listed on the Settings screen and on Submit dropdown list. To submit the defect to Rally, refer to Submit Defect to Rally for details.
Pre-Condition: You need to install either Microsoft Team Explorer or Visual Studio on your machine in order for qTrace to integrate with TFS. qTrace currently supports TFS version 2008 and 2010.
Select "Team Foundation Server 2008" or "Team Foundation Server 2010" tracker type, enter connection name, Web URL, and login information. Contact your TFS administrator to get the correct TFS service URL. For example: http://qasfoundation:8080/tfs
Click the Test Connection button to test the connection. You will receive a confirmation message next to the Test Connection button if the connection is established successfully.

Click Save to save settings for subsequent use. The connection is saved and listed on the Settings screen and on Submit dropdown list. To submit the defect to TFS, refer to Submit Defect to TFS 2010 or TFS 2008 for details.
Pre-Condition: qTrace currently supports VersionOne on premise 12 and SaaS version.
Select "VersionOne" tracker type, enter connection name, Web URL, and login information. For example: https://www6.v1host.com/QAS_DSDM/
Click the Test Connection button to test the connection. You will receive a confirmation message next to the Test Connection button if the connection is established successfully.

Click Save to save settings for subsequent use. The connection is saved and listed on the Settings screen and on Submit dropdown list. To submit the defect to VersionOne, refer to Submit Defect to VersionOne for details.
